Gary Geiger

    
A California native, Gary Geiger graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography in 1974 and has been living on the Monterey Peninsula for the past 27 years.

Gary's work has been used in publishing, interior design, as well as exhibited in fine art galleries. In 1991 Gary was commissioned by Graphic Arts Publishing to photograph the Monterey area, which resulted in a book “Among the Cypress”.  He has recently released his newest book called “Monterey Peninsula, A Cypress Shore”.

Gary's work has taken him to over 30 countries, with his main focus being Mexican colonial architecture. This body of work has been an ongoing project for more than 10 years.

Being a colorist, the textures, designs and color in the old colonial towns lends itself to the work he now exhibits.
